Who are we?
The GB Rowing Team is the high-performance arm of British Rowing. We train, prepare and select crews to represent Great Britain in international competitions at junior, U23 and senior level, from Under 16s to the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Visit the GB Rowing Team website to meet the teams, follow our 2012 hopefuls and find GB rowers from your area.
How hard do GB rowers train?
Members of the GB Rowing Team train up to three times a day, seven days a week, 49 weeks a year and rowing machines play a substantial part in that training to help develop strength and muscular endurance.
How are rowers and crews selected?
Each year the lengthy selection process for the GB Rowing Team culminates in the Senior Trials with racing over 2K. The Nation on Trial gives you an insight into the commitment, competitiveness and sense of achievement of being able to row and race that distance on an ergo or rowing machine.
Good Luck, take the trial and set your own 2K personal best!
